Every song on this album has a strong connection to South Dakota. Tim wrote all ten of the original songs while living there, long before he moved to Nashville to pursue music full time. The remaining tracks are songs he learned to love and performed in cover bands during those years—music that helped shape his sound and storytelling style.

One special addition to the album is “South Dakota,” originally recorded by Chris Stapleton on his 2023 album Higher. When Tim first heard the song, he immediately knew it belonged on this record—not only because of the title, but because the vibe perfectly captures the spirit of the album.
